On the 24th of November 2007, the SanAquam brand was launched in the Drakensberg, the site of the Drakensberg Mountains Retreat. We were privileged to be joined by representatives from the top national and local media, as well as renowned Ayurvedic Doctors from Nagarjuna in Kerala, the heart of Ayurveda in India

Launch of SanAquam Urban Sanctuary, Broadway, Durban North

In March 2008, the SanAquam Urban Sanctuary opened in Broadway, Durban North. Launch of Café DOSHAS at the Urban Sanctuary, Durban North

In February 2009, SanAquam opened its Ayurvedic café with over 110 people in attendance from members of radio, television and print media to bankers, businessmen and selected SanAquam clients. The café is a first of its kind with meals designed for specific body constitutions offering those in search of a better diet a way to balance their life through food.

Launch of Beach Escapes Spa, Cane Cutters Resort, Ballito Bay

Another first of its kind - in April 2009 SanAquam opened a outdoor spa offering unique adventure and relaxation experiences including signature lunches, full body Ayurvedic massages, horse riding, canoeing and yoga on the beach. Just 40 minutes north of Durban, connecting with nature has been given new meaning by this exciting new venture.

Launch of Spa Centre, Thokozia Shopping Centre in the Central Drakensberg

A fully equipped lifestyle shop and two bed spa was opened in the Drakensberg in April 2009 offering a selected blend of massages and treatments to Winterton, Estcourt, Bergville and surrounding area residents as well as holiday makers and visitors to the nearby SanAquam Ayurvedic Retreat.
